Coach of the Year and Associate Member/Contributor of the Year Awards
One of the purposes of the NDCA is to recognize, honor, and award people in our profession who have excelled in their respective dance team leadership position.
NDCA will be awarding a Coach of the Year to (1) High School, (1) College and (1) All Star coach. A total of (3) awards.
The Associate Member/Contributor of the Year will be awarded to (1) individual. This person can be a Judge, Choreographer, Consultant, Retiree, Partner, or anyone outside of coaching who has made an impact in the dance team world.
To be considered for an award, nominees must be a member of the NDCA and have worked in the profession for at least five years. Nominators do not have to be NDCA members (for example, a dancer can nominate her coach).
To nominate a person for the Coach of the Year or Associate Member/Contributor of the Year, please complete the online nomination form which includes a written statement of no more than 500 words explaining why this person should be considered.
Award Recipients receive a contemporary art design award presented at the annual conference. The NDCA will also feature their accomplishments on the NDCA website and social media sites.
