How To Nominate Coach of the Year

NDCA Coach of the Year Awards

One of the purposes of the NDCA is to recognize, honor, and award people in our profession who have excelled in their respective dance team leadership position.

NDCA will be awarding a Coach of the Year Award to (1) High School, (1) College and (1) All Star coach – A total of (3) awards.

To be considered for an award, nominees must be a member of the NDCA and have worked in the profession for at least five years. Nominators do not have to be NDCA members (for example, a dancer can nominate her coach).

The Coaches of the Year will receive a contemporary art design award presented at the annual conference. The NDCA will also feature their accomplishments on the website and in social media postings.

Nominations are due each year by December 31.  Nominees will be notified by March 1 that they are on the ballot for selection by the NDCA General Membership.  Voting will take place online the last two weeks of March (only current NDCA members will vote).  All nominees will be introduced at the Gala during the annual NDCA Coaches Conference, and the winner will be announced live on stage.
