The NDCA offers one Dance Safety Credential that is renewed every three years.

5 Professional Development Hours

$50 for NDCA members

$75 for non-members

You may work through the course at your own pace, but need to complete the course in the month you start it. You must complete all modules and earn at least 80% on quizzes. When you have completed the course, you will be able to download a certificate of completion. Be sure to keep a copy of your certificate for your records and share a copy with your supervisor.

This course focuses on ensuring the safety of athletes. Topics include legal aspects of coaching, mental and physical preparation, skill progressions, environmental safety, skill progressions, and other considerations for risk reduction.

Upon successful completion, participants can download a certificate that shows the number of professional development hours earned. We highly recommend that dance professionals keep track of all professional development and certifications, including expiration dates, when applicable.
